But, but, but. The .gox20 is for the 8.010 which had been withdrawn after a few days of availability through HOME.


The ones presumed to be Beta ( ! ) versions are

For me it works fine and has removed an extreme irritation when connecting through the USB port where TT fails to reboot and needed a reset to get going. So much so I've reinstated the desktop charger on my desk. The downside is that there isn't an emulator connection with Home yet. I've had to delete/reinstall the phone connection for traffic to work again.

I'm running the 8.051 and the new 810 maps on a 930.

So far all is well....no real road use yet.

Update on the use of 8.051....after about a week of use.

this 8.051 seems to have the same " turn itself on " bug as the 8.010.

the 8.051 turned itself and sometimes wouldn't start up without a pin reset.

as always I tried the usual fixes. clear flash....clear route....turn off bluetooth....etc.


and just for the record....this 8.051 looks and feels the same as the 8.010 and 8.002....so your not missing anything if your not using this version.



I'm now back to the " rock solid " and dependable 8.002 and all is running perfect as it should.
