Hello -

Today I reformatted my XL340S, which I was able to do without any problems. One question I do have, however, has to do with the file system of the internal memory. Originally, it was being reported as FAT16, and I reformatted it as FAT32. The device still appears to work perfectly normal, so I was wondering if there is any particular reason why it was formatted FAT16 in the first place, or if there are any problems I should now expect with it being FAT32?

Thanks
Chris

Haven't heard any issues one way or the other. The linux OS on the Tomtom must be able to read either fine.

Fat32 can handle larger drive sizes, which is why we recommend it for the SD cards on the GO models.
