Have purchased and installed EUROPE SOUTH onto the SD card. Having inserted the SD card into the satnav it does not show up in the list, just Ireland and UK. Do I have to activate it or not? Thanks

Is there a choice under Manage Maps-->switch maps?

How about if you do a drum reset by holding the power button about 15 seconds till you hear the drum sounds? Does it get listed then?

Didn't know that TomTom was still selling maps on cards. Where did you purchase it?

So next question .. which would have been my next one in any case .. where did OP get the Europe South map? Was purchase from TomTom?

I intended purchasing EUROPE from TomTom International BV but it turned out to be too big to fit on the SD memory card. What it then did was to give me options to purchase parts of Europe. I selected EUROPE SOUTH which is just fine as it covered France Spain Italy and many others countries. Got it working OK today thanks to 'dhn' and 'Justbrowsing'
