Error Message (after map download)

I have an XXL and when I try to do the map update I get the following message:

ERROR: DesktopLib/InstallToDevice/GetInstallable/InvalidArchive1: This file is invalid (archive file): C:\Users\Yvonne\Documents\TomTom\HOME\Download\complete\map\USA__Canada___Mexico-3\USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P.zip

How can I fix this?

I would try deleting the corrupt downloaded map.

When I say delete, I mean copy it somewhere else first!
So find it in the
C:\Users\Yvonne\Documents\TomTom\HOME\Download\complete\map folder, and move the whole folder (it will be called something like USA__Canada___Mexico-3) to somewhere else on your PC or even an external drive.

Then when you re-connect to Home, it should allow you to download it again.
 
Hi! I had the same problem a few moments ago, I left downloading the update and my computer went to sleep mode.

I tried deleting the corrupt map but didn't work.

What did work was to uninstall HOME and reboot, re-install it again, and was ready for the download with no problems.

Hope this works!
 
In the Control Panel, Power Saving Options, set it so the hard drive does NOT go to Hibernate or Sleep mode but is set to 'always on'
