During Update: Language Changes

Hi all

My TomTom XL is set to English. But I have found that sometimes when I plug it into the computer and do updates (uploading/downloading map corrections, etc), it resets to a foreign language.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you know why it happens or if I'm doing something wrong?

It's a fair bet that when something weird happens as one uses Home, it rarely, if ever is the user's fault.... normally just another bug in Home.

It's 'normal' for me to have to reset the car icon if I've used the emulator and, once in a while, I lose my voice choice but I'd not heard of the language getting changed after using Home........till now.

You may want to try this (Don't know if it'll help, but....)

Download and run three times the Clear Flash tool found here.

Otherwise....don't know what to suggest at this point, except resetting the language, of course.
