Does TT have an online made service?

I don't want to be turning on my TT everytime I want to plan a route before hand. Does TT have a map service online where you can plan a route or see the route TT would take?

You can go to Google maps (which uses the same TeleAtlas maps) and plan a route there. That'll give you a fair idea before hand.

I don't know if your model can handle itinerary planning, but if it can, you can download Google maps' route to your unit using a 3rd party program like TYRE.

It does support itinerary planning. Only thing about google maps is you cannot set alternative routes like avoid the motorway (freeway).

But with an itinerary it is YOU that decides what roads to take via a waypoint.

Try route.tomtom.com. It's in beta so I guess they need feedback. So far I've found that the address entry is dumber than both Google maps and a Tomtom device itself.
