TomTom Model(s)
One 3rd Gen
Hello All,
Let me thank you in advance for what ever help you may provide, It is appreciated. I have a TomTom One 3rd Gen. My problem with it is, the display language stays on German (im assuming) If not German its a language i can not read regardless. How can i change it to English. I have gone to my Tom Tom Home and everything appears to show it should be english, yes all the prompts on the screen are a language I do not understand. Is there away to reset it to english or what are the proper steps to make the change, from the present language to English.

Thanks,

-Kevin

Tap the main screen, and then tap a "wrench" symbol:

Refer to the attached TTWrench.jpg

[Now u are inside 'Preferences']

Then tap the arrow (pointing to the right) three times to get to the 4th Preferences page (of 7).

Now hopefully you will see an icon for "Change Language" which is a collection of national flags.

Refer to the attached TTChangeLang.jpg.

Good luck

try this
1.main menu tap change preferences
2.tap the arrow goto preferences 7 of 7
3.tap reset factory settings
this will let you set the language of your tomtom
this will wipe out all yours favorites
you can copy them down on paper an add them back later

hope this help:)
