After a few weeks of very frustrating use with my 510, I finally called customer service.

I purchased my unit off of ebay and it was a refurb. Problems started almost immediately, would not calculate a route of several hundred kilometers, it would reboot instead, would not find city names after you entered the third letter, it would reboot, same with area codes, etc.....

CS had me do a clear flash, and then a soft reset, which I had previously done, then a hard reset, then download the software again all to no avail. Finally they had me erase my TT and format it and downloaded all new software, including the newest maps and it works like a charm.

Excellent CS for my particular issue, and finally I am a happy TT owner.:D
 
Glad you got a good response from TT support. For the most part I think they do a good job but most people who post are having some issue so we often get a skewed point of view.
