I have been updating my GPS for map correction using Tomtom home periodically and also sending Google map address to my Tomtom to add to favorite.

To I was surprised to find Tomtom missing. It gives following makes of GPS
Clarion
Garmin
Insignia
Mio/Navman
Navigon
Pioneer

Please advise

Google no longer loves TomTom. Teleatlas (part of TomTom) got a huge contract from Apple for map data that used to be Google's business. We think that Google is still miffed. At any rate, what you are seeing is now 'normal'. There are some alternative ways of going about this, but none of them are nearly as convenient as this was.

Google Earth maps

It's a little kludgey but you can download Google Earth coordinates as kml files and use http://www.poieditor.com to convert them to .ov2 files. There's a selection "show google maps" in Google Earth so it's easy to flip between Google Earth and Google maps now. My experience is that Google maps are pretty close to what is in my TomTom.

Ahh. A very very important feature lacking in Tomtom, for a previous Garmin. Has Tomtom felt out from the top GPS group? I'm seriously thinking about returning the GO 2535 (got on a good price at $180) that is only 4 days old with me. On the other hand, while very dangerous routing, it made me laughed out loud  (see my first driving day with Tomtom at https://www.tomtomforums.com/t29217-very-strange-route-tomtom-go-2535-a.html#post171124)
