The fault on my TT is the battery has failed on my 1005.
I have been discussing with TT to get the battery replaced under warranty even though it is 18 months old TT are not interested and want £90 to replace the battery,
My argument is that the product is not fit for purpose, as I would expect it to last longer than 18 months, but if the design is for the battery to be replaced regularly, then it should be easily accessible, which it seems it is not .
Clearly it is disappointing that TT are trying to walk away from this issue, but that’s the way TT seem to work, great product poor attitude and company support.
Questions, is there any guidance on replacing the battery myself and has anyone had the same experiences.
And would I buy / recommend Tom Tom, no way
