I just drove to Luton Airport and back. My TomTom thought I was driving across ploughed fields when travelling on the Bedford A421 bypass. I had a similar problem near Longstanton, Cambridgeshire, where there is a new road layout, well, it's 4-5 years old.
When I hooked up to the TomTom website, I found there had been 11 map updates for my 710. I am a bit miffed, having to pay ?25 for an update but would bit the bullet if I knew the maps were bang up to date. I realise you have to buy new a road atlas from time to time but at least they include proposed new roads. TomTom seem to be very slow at adding new routes.
