TomTom XL 340TM Latest Maps and Mapshare

Recently purchased a XL 340TM. Performed HOME and explorer backup on device and then reformatted it in windows to be clear of any issues. Updated application several (3 times). First few time it started up with old application screen would roll. Updated to latest maps (USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P 860.3121). Application is 9.056.542741.103 OS 1000. When I start up home it tells me my maps are over 20 weeks old and cannot use mapshare?

That's a faulty message that everyone got when first updating to 860. Ignore it. Also, see this thread:
