I just bought the GO 930 after numerous problems with my One v3...so far I'm very impressed with what I've gotten. I was playing around with the features of the GO 930 and am trying to setup the compass. I can get the compass to appear on the screen but according to the owner's manual I should be able to get other features going to (ie one arrow pointing north, arrow pointing in the direction I'm travelling etc.) I was able to get this feature to work on the One v3 but can't seem to get anything other than the compass arrow pointing north. It's not that big of a deal but I'm curious as to how to get this to work.

I can't swear to this but I seem to remember this issue being discussed in a Brit forum when the 930's were introduced and the comment that TomTom had removed that option from Navcore 8 for some reason.

leave it up to Tomtom to delete something but not take it out of the owners manual...lol. Thanks

It appears in my user guide as well, interesting that it's only downloadable from the British TomTom site. But you're correct it's not customizable as it is in the 20s. I prefer mine to point in the direction I'm going.

Also, I don't know if this occurred in the 20s or not, the signal strength bars can either be vertical or horizontal depending upon what you have selected under status bar preferences.
