2 gig sd card not activating

I made a back up of my TT510. Then I copied all files from TT SD card to a 2 gig sd card. When I turn it on, it says "USA_and _Canada This product has not been activated." I put in the correct product code and activation code from www.ttcode.com as per the device code. It does not get activated.
When I put the TT otiginal 1gig sd card, it works fine.
Am I doing anything wrong? Why does the original 1 gig card get activated and not the 2 gig card.

what I did was to back up my 1 gig, and removed it, and put the 2 gig into the tomtom and restored my backup , it works fine although it says I have a go 710 now..
