Does anyone know if the 740 GO Live has an A2DP or AVRCP bluetooth? We are trying to snyc the 740 with a V-Tune Full Face Helmet with Bluetooth and cannot get it to recognize the 740 GO. The helmet requires one of the aforementioned bluetooth profiles. I talked with someone at Tom Tom and they did not know! The helmet has no trouble recognizing the phone bluetooth and has the capability of recognizing a second bluetooth with an A2DP or AVRCP bluetooth. Thanks!

If your unit has the option to use Bluetooth for the audio output then it will use A2DP. Check this on your device by going to Change Preferences/ Speaker Preferences and look for an option for navigation instructrions via Bluetooth.

A2DP is Stereo audio over Bluetooth, while you can use this mode for playing nav instructions via BT its primary use was for streaming music from the built in mp3 players on the earlier (better) models.

AVRCP is Audio Video remote control, your TomTom doesn't support this mode.

If you want your phones audio through the TomTom it will NOT route the handsfree to the helmet, sadly its internal speaker on the TomTom for any handsfree audio - Mike

The GO 740 supports A2DP. Menu - Preferences -> next -> speaker preferences.
