550 xxl and north up

This is my first post. I have tried searching but no help...
I just received a 550m XXL and i am tring to find out if NORTH UP is my only 2d display option. If so this thing is going back to the store.

Welcome to TTF. Guess it's going back as 2D North up is the only 2D option on that model.

thanks for the info. Any chance you can tell me which model has the ability? Other than the map making it look like i am going backwards i love the tomtom.

You want a model with a full menu options, such as the 540 series.

I figured that the higher nember would have more features. Thanks for the update, I will look into the 540.
