I have a go 730 and samsung sph-m320 the provider is solo. Tom Tom activates the phone, and the phone successfully pairs to the Tom Tom . I can make hands free calls ok. On incoming calls the line stays open. but there is no voice . any help is apprreciated.

Could just be an incompatibility, or could be bugginess with bluetooth.

Have you tried a pin reset on the Tomtom, and a battery removal reset on your phone?

I cannot help either.
My 930 and Samsung SCH-u510 (CDMA Telus) acts like that when I try to call home via the Home button.
It displays the number properly, it connects the phones but there is no sound, in either direction.
If I go to phone book and select the Home entry it displays the same but makes a proper two way call.
