2d and 3d map views

Just got a TOMTOM one v3 today. I switched from 2d to 3d map view and now I can not switch back. I have reset the device but still can not get a 2d map view, it is disabled in the options. The 3d map is all garbled but I have never been able to find my area of the county on any satellite photo web sites. Any ideas?

That is very strange.

Have you tried the setting, Reset to factory default? That's found under Change Preferences.

If that doesn't work try connecting the unit to HOME and use Virtual TomTom.
See if you can make the switch there.

The One started showing regular 2d maps once I drove back down the street into the area of town that normally has the satellite photos. Thanks for the replies.
