2505 vs 2535

I tried a search but didn't find a clear answer other than the 2535 has a different voice command program. Will they both turn off and on with external power, like in a cradle with the key? Are both using the same software and maps? Both have same processors and ram? There is about $180 difference in price right now. I am looking at the standard go tm in both.

Thanks redlinetire. It shows them being the same for everything but the 35 adds intuitive voice. Seem kind of pricey, being $180 more.

Does anyone know if the turn on and off with key? That was the biggest complaint i had with my 630 is it would not turn on when i started the car.

The price difference between the two is about $70, not $180. While neither comes with auto-on, a new app update DOES allow for auto on for the 2X models.

Local FS has the 2505 on for 180 and the 2535 for 350 so 170. I got the 2505 today so I have a few weeks to find out, but it dosnt sound like there is a reason to get the 2535.

I just updated my 2505 and i done see and i have test the on and off with power. What am I missing. App ver 10.501

Try battery savings preferences-->power off when extenal power lost. I think that will also cause power on when external power provided. I think.

thanks- it shuts off with the key now. What about turning on?

I think you may have to wait a little longer for that, possibly for a new v10 software version or maybe v11 software such as has just been released for the GO LIVE 1535 and 253.
