xl325 se

so i just got a xl325 se on firday and it worked fine until yesterday when i updated mapshare and now when i start it is keeps turning off and when it does go to the map screen it says soemthing about map access failure or something, does anyone know what i can do other than returning it and gettin a new one

i would return it, why fool around with it. I updated mine, it wrks fine.

Depending on whatever's more convenient for you:

1) exchange it at Walmart
2) try the steps below (will probably take a couple of hours)

a) backup per this link
b) format the tomtom, make sure quickformat is disabled
c) copy the USA folder back to the Tomtom from your backup
d) in HOME run "update my XL", download the application and voices
e) do these steps
