Quick Q about my XL325SE....starting up.

My GPS starts up a few different ways....and I was wondering why.

After I plug a new POI into it...via the computer, or have it in the computer for any reason...and then disconnect it....it will think, that I've arrived and tell me "your at your destination" or something....it won't just be static.

OR

It will be calculating a route when I haven't done anything.

My second Q is this:

When i'm going to a destination and then decide not to go...how do you cancel a "navigate here" and have it just be "no route planned"?

On the main menu 3rd screen, I think, is 'clear route'. Press that while navigating to your route and that's it.

I think your first issue is related. The location it thinks is the destination may be not exactly precise in the sense that you arrive at the destination or the poi not quite where it thinks it is.

So, when you turn on the unit, it still thinks you are on route. The point is, always 'clear route' when you have reached your destination ..... wherever it is.
