XL Europe 22
I have a TomTom XL, Europe 22 according to the box. I have used it very happily, if sporadically, in both the UK and in The Netherlands where I live. I know that it is no longer updated by TomTom, but that doesn't worry me. However, I have read that on the night of 6/7 April old GPS systems become "full" and I would like to know if I can still depend on mine to still get me around as it has done up till now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

No, (in Dutch) it says there is no device attached - whilst it is attached and switched on when I did so. Using the TomTom app on my comuter I get a page that says I get no more updates or cards, that it can continue functioning but with out of date information. However, will this be affected by the 6/7 April changes? Series number is RM2209F02715
(at one point it showed 2.9.8.2625 but that disappeared and just said the above).
Any way for you or someone to know if it will continue working? I would be very glad to know!
If you connect to Home, does it offer an updated application for the device?

Call support tomorrow. Do NOT provide a model when prompted in order for a live agent to respond:

Many thanks for your quick reaction to my query! I will call tomorrow - and thanks for the hint about NOT mentioning the model!

Many thanks - on 2nd try I got a human being!, was eventually advised to reinstall TomTomHome, and an update was provided that will hopefully keep me going beyond 7 April. Hope they are correct! Thanks again...
