Wrong location.....

Hi Guys & gals, newbie here and I just got my new TomTom one and it seemend to be working fine, but I updated it and now It always shows my position as being about 500meters to one side. Last time I was on a four lane split hiway I was shown as going down the opposite side, and then it was always showing me being to the left or right of the road I was travelling about 500 meters or so, and of course, it then throws off the whole nav system with turns etc. Has this happened to anyone and if so how to fix???

Do you have one of those thermal windshields? You may not be getting enough satellites to get a good fix.

HHHmm, I thougt I was getting 8 Sats but I'll check to see and move it down in the windsheild and see, thanks if that doesnt work I'll post again.

Just a caveat, this is the blind leading the blind. However the first thing I would do is try it in another car and see if that's the issue.
