I have moved to Win 7 and downloaded and installed TomTom Home allowing all defaults. The end result was a complete computer crash and even an inability to uninstall the program and I had to do a System Restore to escape. The version was 2.9.something.

Does this mean I cannot use TTH on my new computer?

Download the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller from here:

completely uninstall Home 2. Get a fresh copy at tomtom.com/home

Many run Home 2 on a w7 64 bit without problems. Try running Home in XP compatible mode.

I have HOME 2 running without problems on a desktop that uses Windows 7, and also on a netbook that uses Windows 7. I run in "normal" Win7 mode, but if you continue to have problems you may want to try running in XP Compatibility mode.
