why wont contact lists transfer with verizon?

any way of making my contact list transfer with verizon..everything else works...and gps says they have been transfered but they arent there...i get a grayed icon

From what I have read it is hit and miss with Verizon. Some phones will transfer and the others will not. I have Verizon LG VX8300 and also was not able to transfer the contacts.

However, there is a manual way if you do not have many contacts. If you do have a lot then I would choose the ones you would call the most, anyway here are the steps.

1. Open the notepad.
2. In the notepad type data in the following format:

"name","0123456789"
"name","0123456789"
"name","0123456789"
"name","0123456789"

where "name" is the contact name (spaces are allowed). So for example:

"John Smith","0123456789"
"Bob Smith","0123456789"

3. Once you have all the contacts save the file as contacts.txt in the TT contacts folder.
4. Restart TT and now you should have the contacts.

Thats good to know as my wife is having issues with her treo on att for some reason, everything else works fine..but for some reason, she can only transfer like 9 contacts and thats it...so I will try this method
