whew... got the red X on updating a new Xl...

boy... got a quick scare there.

lucky i made a backup before doing anything.

but when i added a few POI and a voice, when i turned it back on, got the RED X...

plugged it back into the TT HOME and i dont know what i did to wake it back up though...

I had something similar happen when I was on vacation...I think I ended up using the reset button on the back and that fixed it but I was worried, especially since I still had to get home. Haven't seen anything since so I am hoping it is an isolated thing, maybe I disconnected it too soon after undocking???

As you can see its very important to have backups.

Did you happen to remove the card while your unit was off?
Did you have to remove your device from your computer incorrectly?

i did hit the RESET a few times that didnt cure the issue.

the ONE XL was unplugged from the USB cable and did a RESET a few times and each time would boot to the red X.

at that point, i decided to connect it back and do a restore.

then i forgot what i did and eventually, the machine was okay...
