A few questions about my TomTom XL Live

It has been working perfectly ever since I bought it from a thrift store. No problems at any point. However I have a few questions:

1. I installed a bunch of plugins on the device. How can I remove most?
2. I tried OpenTom but it doesn't work. Tried it from micky-it/Working-2021-Opentom and micahlt/OpenTom but none seem to work. It hangs at the TomTom logo. I can't even compile it as I have some problems with Linux on my PC. Why is this happening? (Optional question)

They aren't "installed", they're discovered by the device firmware during boot. Just delete them from the folder where they were originally placed.

They aren't in folders, they are on root. Do I have to delete there, but being careful not to delete anything bad?
Also random question: what would happen if I deleted everything from the TomTom?

Q1: Delete only the items you copied to the root.

Q2: You'd be toast. You can't re-download the maps.

Before beginning do a FULL backup copy of your device to your PC. I'm on the road now on a phone, but look in our Articles section.
