What does "Metadata" in the vehicle profile settings mean?

I pay through the nose for the "Truck" setting, which allows me to set my preferred top speed.

I'm curious as to what the field "Metadata" below the max speed setting does?

(I never use the truck specific settings, why on earth can't TomTom offer a less expensive upgrade, where I can set the speed?)

To be honest, I have no idea what Metadata is supposed to mean. I only see it in the Android version. It's not in the iOS version of the app or on GO Expert. Looks like it's there by mistake. "Commercial Vehicle" above that is relevant to the US only.
