When to buy new device to get new maps?

I'm about to pull the trigger on getting a new Live 120.

Knowing I can get the latest maps if they become available within 30 days of purchase - do TomTom release their maps on a predictable schedule so I can make sure I get them when released?

Version 870 was released in May so 875 will come out in mid to late August if they keep to their 3-month release schedule.

Go 2505 tm

I bought this GPS last may;app version is 10.116.7.....amd map 865.3243;no update available through My Tom Tom since.
Is this the last update for Go 2505 TM,or I am missing something...

The latest map is 870 BUT North American users seem to be having problems getting the Latest Map guarantee.

Call CS at 866-486-6866 to sort it out.
