Hi brand new newbie here, just found this site, its great. Lots to learn be ready for many noob questions when I get it new week. For now I just want to know if I got a good deal and what version it is. Thanks

the link says that the unit doesnt run from flash memory and it comes with a 1gb sd card... based on those, id say its not a v4... less than v4... probably a v3.

i also see that your link is for a refurb.... you can get a new v4 for $299 from amazon, just fyi.

Downloader didn't make it clear to everyone that this is a Canadian price. So yes, it's a good deal as you are getting $100 off the normal Cdn price. Note that you are getting a 1 yr as opposed to a 2 year warranty.

This is most certainly a v2 unit. But don't fret. All units function the same and there is absolutely no difference in the way it navigates.

Your maps won't be the latest, but then again, the latest maps seem to be plagued with problems.
