what on 720t

Hi

Can you tell me what should be on the root of my unit please. 720t

IE what folders and files etc

The reason I ask is that I have just paid ?79.00 for the upgrade maps and it stopped with a error saying not enough room on my unit.

So what i want to know is what can i delete from it.

First, make an Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents

Then use Explorer and move to your specific map folder (probably Western_Europe) and remove the cspeechxx.dat files for all countries you'd never plan to visit (the 'xx' is two letters representing each country)

And use Home to remove voices, computer and recorded, that you don't use and try the installation again..

OR.........a better suggestion.

Get yourself a 4-gig sdhc card, the fastest class the better (class 4 minimum) and select the sd card for the installation of the updated map. Then youi will have plentry of room on the card for the map, mp3's, photos, etc.

Just remember whatever method you choose to make the Explorer backup first.
