I have a GO 720, and when the version 720 maps were released, I was able to purchase a US only map (not the North America map) for $79.95. The NA map was also available for a higher price (which I don't remember), and the regional maps were available for $59.95 each. Now with the new 810 maps, it seems that the NA map is available but I think the price went up, the US map is *gone*, and the regional maps are $79.95 each.
What exactly happened here? I actually found the US-only map useful. I'd need to buy two regional maps if I want to visit my family and navigate around my area. But I don't need a map of Canada. Will the v810 US-only map be released at some point? Or has it been discontinued? I find myself in an "all or nothing" situation, which is very frustrating.
