Tom not announing street names anymore, what happened?

When I first started using my tomtom, 2 weeks ago it would anounce street names. Now it does not. Did I accidentally turn it off or something. Is there a way to turn it back on, and is there a way to correct it when it mispronounces a name?

Check under voice preferences to make sure ytou have a computer voice selected

First off try resetting the device, if its got a dedicated reset switch give that a prod, if not press and hold the the power on/ off switch until the device reboots with a drum roll.

If this doesn't fix it go to Change Preferences/ Manage Voices/ Switch voice and make sure the unit has a computer voice selected, it will say "Computer Voice" on the screen - Mike
