What happened to the config options?!

I had my new XL 335s stolen a couple weeks back and just bought a XL 335LM to replace it, assuming it was the same except lifetime map updates. Boy was I wrong. This unit is completely crippled with none of the options for configuring the display (like choosing what you want shown on your screen). Is there any way doing configuration changes by any method? I really miss my compass and selecting what I want to see displayed.

The 'L' designation refers to a model with the 'EasyMenu' installed. Reduced configeration in a big way from models with the full menu option.

Thanks for the link. I will give this a try tonight. Otherwise it will go back to the store tomorrow and I will track down a XL 340s or anXL335s. This dumbed down interface is useless.

go to Amazon.com and buy a 335M, 335T or 335TM with full menus
