Volume control on Go Discover 7"

I can't access the volume control for the verbal guidance instructions whilst I am driving a programmed route. I can change between 'Mute/Unmute and alerts only' but not alter the volume.
Help !!

Thanks for that. I was hoping I could alter the volume from the map screen without exiting my route,
My previous Go6200 had the volume control on the map screen.

One option would be to change volume by voice command.

I find this annoying too, and I will also try the voice command.
