Uppdating Start 52

    Is anyone out there having problems trying to update a START 52....?

    I have downloaded the latest copy of MyDrive Connect, am using the correct genuine original TomTom USB lead. I start My Drive, connect the START 52 and select the updates I want.

    Download starts but then a message appears on the laptop asking me to connect my TomTom to the laptop but it already is.

    Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cables changes nothing.

    Can anyone help...…..?

    After the download fails and you get the 'unconnected' message, does your PC still recognize your 52? It will appear as a 'network' device n whatever hardware management tool you have (don't know if you're Mac or some version of Windows). We need to sort whether the PC is losing the logical connection or whether it's just MyDrive that loses it.
