TTH crashes when i try to open it

i downloaded it installed it and tried to run it, it crashes on start up with this error.

i have tried uninstalling it and even re downloading it to reinstall it but to no change, and i don't speak computer so i don understand this error message, if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

Download the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller from here:
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

and completely remove Home.

Then download a fresh copy from here:
How to install HOME

and see if that helps.

Also, if your platform is a pc, make sure you have Net Framework 3.5 or higher.

Just curious, but since TT is written in Java, why does it need the .NET framework?

Due to the nature of the functions required, not all of which reside within Java. Sometimes it's just easier to code. Some examples of why you might want to make *.net calls from within Java:

Adding *.net UI controls within a Java app.
Calling a *.net library from within a Java app.
Registering a *.net Listener with a Java API (I think Home does this)
