I am driving a 1961 Volvo but my spedometer is very inaccurate. I have been trying to download tripmaster_v3.1 but I can not find it. Does anyone know where to find it or anyone has it and willing to share it?

Let me check to see if I still have a copy of that here. I noted a while back that the author's web site (Webazar) is no longer active.

Rats. No. The only two of his apps I still have in my backups are offroad and nmealogger.

I'll assume your old 730 is running version 8.351 code.

Seems to me that Tripmaster required both the app and a 'compatibility hook' to be downloaded for v3.1. What you are going to need to find are the files tripmaster_v3.1.zip and plugins_hook_v1.1.zip

It might also be possible to find and run tripmaster_v2.5.zip on your 730, without the hook file.

I am only looking for an app that converts it to a spedometer only. It is a bit difficult to see the small numbers now. If the other apps does the job they work fine with me!
I have no idea what version my unit is using, can you help me how to check that?

Thanks!!

The surefire way to know your 730's firmware version is to look at the ttgo.bif file in the root of your 730's file structure using your favorite text editor. Around line #9 or so, you'll see "ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=" and some number. As an example, 9541 would indicate version 9.541.

Unfortunately, neither of the two apps I still have produce a large speedo readout. I had a 720 with the Tripmaster app, but no longer have the backups of that device, and don't have it installed on my 740.
