I have just got a TomTom XL and I am trying to put some voices from Navtones on it. They require you to enter the device code. I can't find it.

Does the XL still have a device code? I'm confused!

These are purchased voices, correct?

Don't know if this'll help but if you tap the satellite bars on your unit, you see the version number of the application installed. If you tap the version number, you'll see a screen showing the map and its version number. I think you also see the unit's device code on that screen.

Another place to find it is, with the unit connected to the computer and Home running, you see the info in Home's system information screen.

humm, i will try again. I did this last time but maybe I didn't hit the right place on the blue bar.

The XL for sure has a device code though?
