Tomtom XL connection problem.

Hi,

During backup my PC stucked and I made restart. For PC. Now my tomtom xl won't wake up at all. On screen is TOMTOM with logo and that's all. Have made resets, but nothing : (. I can't connect to device. Is there any solution to fix it?

Were you trying to make an Explorer backup or using Home?

Thanks 4 quick answer : ). I am using Explorer. Suddenly, after few more resets, my tomtom just woked up : ).
Right now, I am loading again maps etc. to device. Hope it's succeed now. Can you say, why this operation takes so long time? 6 or more hour. Many pauses is during this : (. Is there any way to do this quicker?

Think your model is only USB 1.1 compliant, not 2.0. That explains the lengthy copying time. You should see the time drop as it carries on........
