Here's a video for changing the battery in a 730. Maybe you'll find that piece:

Metal, or ivory colored plastic? That looks like the retaining latch for a flex connector.
I've changed screens and batteries in a 730 several times, and for some reason, I don't recall a metal piece of that shape.
May have to go down to the basement and take one apart.

If it is the latch for the flex cable, it should not have come loose during screen replacement. I hope that both of the ends are still intact and nothing is broken.
