TomTom Go 910 - Manage Favorites Greyed Out

I am a newbie to the TomTom and I've already learned a bunch from browsing this forum. I couldn't find anything though on why the "Manage Favorites" icon in Change Preferences would be greyed out though. There must be some reason why I can't click on it. Am I missing something very simple? How do I add a favorite location?

You need to add a favourite first.

On the main menu, you should have an option to add favourite. Going through the process should be straight forward from there. After adding a favourite, the manage favourites should be selectable.
