TomTom Go 500 (N14644) query

Hi. A chum has one of these and says he cannot enter a GPS coordinate but only city / village // town names. Is this correct? Thanks.

The earlier Tomtoms could not navigate to coordinates. All the currently sold Tomtoms do.

I'm not sure if the latest software (eg app 7.903) for the GO 500 adds this feature. It would be in "Navigate to" -> "Latitude/Longitude"

Thanks MVL. Can you Go to Point on Map then enter that as a favorite?

I can add a point on map as a favorite on my 720.

Maybe the GO 500 can with the 7.903 software upgrade.
