I have a new Carminat Tom Tom fitted to a Renault car when trying to use My Tom Tom update I kepp getting an error message ERROR: DesktopLib/StdException/Error: A std exception has occurred with error Device Initialization std::exception: vector<T> too long.

Hi.. I'm not sure if my input will help you as I don't know your machine I had similar probs with updates via my TomTom cradle linked to my PC. Eventually updates ran OK if I temporarily stopped Windows Firewall... be sure to restart Firewall after updates. Good luck.
