Tomtom has announced the Tomtom Connect, a semi-integrated navigation system for Opel cars in Europe.
Tomtom Connect will be LIVE-enabled, including Tomtom's HD Traffic system.
This further expands Tomtom's in-dash/OEM strategy, giving it its first beachhead with the General Motors Corporation. Tomtom now has OEM models announced for Fiat, Ford, Opel, Mazda, Renault, Subaru, and Toyota.
