Tomtom announces Twitter/Expedia/Yelp/Tripadvisor

Tomtom has announced the addition of Twitter, Yelp, Tripadvisor, and Expedia to its LIVE services suite. Initially offered in the US/Germany/New Zealand, this will be delivered via over-the-air update by October to LIVE devices.

In addition, Tomtom has announced the availability of a new device in the USA, the GO 1535 LIVE, which will have these features at launch.

Mentioned this in TomTom's own forum...but don't know if it was shared here yet: I just downloaded Navcore 11 a couple of days ago to my 2535 M Live, and was delighted to see that it includes the new Twitter / Expedia / Yelp and TripAdvisor apps.

From the responses, it seems that Navcore 11 isn't available for all devices just yet. Also, of course, it's safe to assume the new apps will only become available on Live devices (and possibly not all of them...?).

Yes - these services are being rolled out for Live devices only.
