TomTom 3rd Edition programming mode

i found that if you disconnect the battery on the tomtom one 3rd edition...(no sdcard slot)...it will format and copy files flawlessly.
i had lots of problems getting the 3rd edition to take files... and 90% of the time when i could copy files to the tomtom they would be corrupt...most the time it would give file not found errors or just plain would not copy.
with the battery disconnected i plug in the usb and it acts just like a usb jump drive...no prompt to connect to computer. copying and formatting work flawlessly. no corrupt files.

ive got the smae one, and Ive transfered tons of POIs and now Itinerarys over will no troubles at all

no battey disconnecting required
