Hello from New Jersey, love my tomtom so far, looking for tips and tricks, I hear it lets you know when you are speeding but I do not see anything in the manual.

Not all models have all features, but try looking for Safety Preferences-->Warn when going faster than allowed. If you have that option, check it and it'll ask for how fast before giving a visual warning.
