I find that, when navigating near to the English coast, sea areas are often quite unpigmented. Viewing the UK South map widely shows sea areas in blue, but when zoomed-in to navigate, the pigmentation of sea areas either show just very tiny slivers of blue at coastlines or the colouring completely disappears.
I doubt this affects navigation but is does look weird and it reduces spacial awareness.
My maps of New York of Southern Florida have far broader and more useful areas of blue when navigating near to coastlines.
