Need Help Connecting My Fodsports Bluetooth Intercom to TomTom Rider 550

Hi everyone,

I really enjoy motorcycle riding, especially group rides with my friends. To make communication easier while riding, I recently bought a Fodsports Bluetooth helmet intercom.

Now I've run into a problem. I'm not sure how to connect it to my TomTom Rider 550. I'd like to be able to hear navigation directions through my helmet headset while still using the intercom during rides.

Has anyone successfully connected a Fodsports intercom to the TomTom Rider 550? Could you please share the pairing steps or any settings I should check?

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

There are several different Fodsports devices, and you don't say which you are using.
That said, all of them with which I am familiar manage A2DP connectivity, which is what your 550 requires. Whether they can accommodate concurrent connections is a different question.

The pairing screens/buttons/sequence is a function of the specifics of the user interface of the headset and the OS of the phone. So if you would mention which Fodsports model you have, and which phone/OS you are using, someone may be able to give you a hand with the specifics of pairing.

This all assumes that the Fodsports model you own can handle two concurrent Bluetooth connections, and the manufacturer says that some of the Fodsports devices support this, implying that some also do not. For example, see this FAQ commentary from Fodsports for one of their models (FX 10C):
